As we continue to navigate this pandemic together, we’ve become more mindful of each other and more aware of the ripple effect of our actions: we are one fluid entity and, as such, we’re responsible for each other’s wellbeing. As a mindful service company, Element Aqua is taking all the necessary precautions to keep you and everyone safe and healthy.
THE POOL IS STILL THE SAFEST PLACE TO WORK OUT TOGETHER
At Element Aqua, we’ve been preaching the benefits of water for years. This could not ring truer today: experts unanimously agree that the coronavirus cannot remain infectious in the pool; this means that, technically, you’re stepping into - and working out in - an element that kills the virus. With that said, we’re taking every precaution to keep you and your loved one safe at all times. Please take the time to read our updated safety measures below and help us keep our home, your home, healthful and safe.
Cleanliness has always been priority at Element Aqua, and we’re elevating our standards even more.
These new measures will be implemented immediately with more to come.

It is fundamental to us that you FEEL GOOD when you’re at Element Aqua. While your safety remains our priority, your happiness and comfort are of the greatest importance to us and we’ll try to make your experience as seamless and light under these unprecedented circumstances.

Elevated cleaning
​
Disinfecting protocols
All common areas (lobby, elevator, staircases, restrooms, pool deck, etc.) undergo regular disinfection and cleaning procedure by our building's cleaning staff, using EPA regulated cleaning formulas.
​
Our staff will continue to spray with CDC approved disinfectants on all commonly used areas such as counter tops, doorknobs, sinks, lockers, computers, and phones.
Face Masks
Face masks are required at all times and to be worn in all common areas of the building, regardless of vaccination status. Clients must wear masks as they enter the building, in the elevator, during check in and in the restrooms. NO MASKS ARE TO BE WORN INSIDE THE POOL (as per strict CDC guidelines).

Before your Aqua Class

Social Distancing
To ensure social distancing, our class capacity sizes are reduced to allow extra space in our pool and keep congregated numbers to a minimum at all times.
With class sizes reduced, we ask that you sign-up online before class to secure a spot. Please note that our cancellation policy will be strictly enforced.
Aqua Shoes & Towels
Studio towels service will no longer be available and aqua shoes will no longer be available for borrowing. Please bring your own towels and shoes. AQUA SHOES ARE MANDATORY and will be available for purchase at pool side.

When you check in
​
Point of entry
The Aqua Team will keep a safe distance from your point of entry, with no need for you to touch any device. Simply give them your name and they will check you in (remember you must sign-up online before class to guarantee a spot).

Swimming Pool
Once you enter the natatorium, please pick up equipment that your trainer has laid out for you. Proceed to the shower: it is imperative that you shower before entering the pool. For aqua cycling classes, once you have entered the pool, please make your way to any available bike (bikes will be set up at least 6ft apart from one another). Once class is finished, please exit the pool and put your mask back on as quickly as possible.

Please leave the pool and rooftop as quickly as possible to allow time and space for staff to begin cleaning. Make sure you wear your masks again once outside of the pool.
Shower
The pool deck shower is available for use before and after class. It is MANDATORY TO SHOWER before entering the pool.

Let’s remember that we’re all in this together and we must look out for each other, be kind and patient.
We’re committed to following our government’s safety guidelines and will continue to raise the bar for your safety.
Some reminders for you to take note and practice:

Please make sure to practice social distancing especially when checking-in, in the restrooms, locker rooms and on the pool deck. Please avoid "socializing" while on the rooftop.
​
If you have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please take extra precautions! Do not come to the pool, see your doctor and do not return to the pool until you’re symptom-free.
​
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and/or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19.
​
We want you to know that our studio and the entire Element Aqua team is here for you, so you may relax your mind, strengthen your body and lift your spirit. Let’s mindfully dive into Aqua together.
